"I'm taking Paliperidone 75mg but had a mild akathisia making it uncomfortable to sit down now I'm on 5mg of procyclidine and 1 hour later I can sit comfortably in any position. It makes me feel euphoric. Just what I needed."

"I was prescribed this for severe akathisia, and I hated Procyclidine. I took two 5mg tablets a day and found them very hard to swallow, and I've never had a problem swallowing my meds before. The tablets were huge and very bitter. This med also made me extremely nauseous, and I couldn't eat for 4 hours after taking them. They also didn't help my akathisia at all."

"Worked in the short term to prevent spasms. However, it made me extremely anxious and panicky with a racing heart."

"It's really great for movement problems you get from taking other medications. It stops the restlessness both the feeling and physical part to it to the point you can sit still."

"Started taking Aripiprazole as part of my treatment plan for Bipolar disorder, within about 2 weeks I became very restless, mainly my legs and the constant urge to move them about. I just couldn't sit down comfortably, it was so horrible. I was considering stopping the Aripiprazole because the restlessness became so bad. Visited the doctor and told him how bad my restless legs were getting and that I wanted to stop the Aripiprazole. The doctor told me he would like me to try procyclidine before I quit taking the medication. The tablets work very quickly for me they kicked in about 20 minutes after taking the tablet which was such a relief. My legs were no longer restless and I could finally sit down without the horrible urge to move. I am pleased they worked so quickly and work so well. Talked with my doctor"
