"The administration of this drug caused my 9 pound otherwise completely healthy newborn to get severe jaundice. My newborn had to be under bili lights for 5 days starting one day after administration of the K1 shot at birth. I was not aware this injection comes with a black box warning. I was not aware or told my child was receiving it . If I had known the risks I would have absolutely declined it. It was completely UNNECESSARY!"
