Syfovre (pegcetacoplan) "Had eye injections 2 months apart. Temporary loss of vision in the injected eye, significant pain and discomfort for about 5 minutes. The last injection triggered a vasovagal reaction. Did not fully faint but had cold sweats, reduced vision, and panting. Took about 10 minutes to recover. Will discuss with a retinologist before considering another dose."

Syfovre (pegcetacoplan) "Two weeks after receiving my first shot, my vision got wavy. My left eye was my good eye, and now it is my right eye. I was going to stop getting the shot, but decided I should continue as this is the only hope right now. I now receive it every 10 weeks. It is more painful than the Eylea I get in my right eye. My vision hasn't deteriorated since that shot. I have now had 4 shots. I will continue every 10 weeks. I have not seen this listed as a side effect, so possibly it was the AMD and not the shot. Scary either way."
