"I was on this as it was recommended to taper from clonazepam. Initially I tried brand name 21st centre prolonged release 500mg Niacinamide. First dose caused abdominal pain and body discomfort within 12 hours. Too uncomfortable to repeat and side effects caused concern for even taking this much. Researched and found daily requirement for normal intake is just 35mg. Then switched to a 250 mg tablet that I cut in half to approx 125mg. It still resulted in overnight abdominal discomfort. I am a 75 yo female. I would take precautions with this supplement"
