"Dexamethasone 4mg (equivalent 25mg Prednisone) been effective in reducing inflammation considerably within four months, in conjunction with Humira. Side effects were less than Prednisone, and tapering to stop the dosage of Dexamethasone is taking place over a month. Humira will continue indefinitely. Patient is highly sensitive to Prednisone and high dose would not have been tolerated. Whilst the high dose of Dexamethasone did cause side effects mentally and physically, it was able to be tapered to 1mg within 2 months due to rapidly reducing inflammation."

"Seems to have been very effective in reducing inflammation rapidly. Able to take a lesser dose than Prednisone was to be prescribed. Less side effects on the brain than Pred, but quite hard on stomach, however prescribed meds helped to relieve this. Overall a great improvement in conditions."
