For Asthma "My first dose did not go as well as the other med I was taking. Not an allergic reaction but I was very tired, a bit disoriented, and felt 'weird.' They called the doctor into the infusion room. Trying it again and will have to stay two hours instead of one. I like the other med much better. I had an extreme reduction in attacks on that one. Insurance would not pay and my copay was $2.00. Fasenra is $75 for each infusion."

For Asthma "Switched to this med from an IV med. Fasenra is not working as well and am experiencing very fast heart rate. Hoping I can get my doctor to switch me back. However, I do prefer injections to the IV."

"My son is most likely the youngest person currently using Fasenra. He was prescribed it at 10 years old for Eosinophilic Gastritis (EOG). He had been so sick nausea, the worst GI pain you could imagine & never want to see your kiddo in. He missed 95 days of school by Feb at that point I called his Dr and started the process expecting it would take 18 months until he was 12. Nope 48 hrs later he was approved and a week later we had it. In November his EOS count was off the charts and by August 2022 he’s been put into remission. He’s gaining weight (which is a good thing for an 11 yr old who couldn’t eat prior to Fasenra), his face is rounding out, he’s feeling better for the 1st time in his entire life. We are currently not seeing the full effectiveness of the medication that we did. At the beginning but there’s multiple factors that could play into that , Fasenra for EOG has been life changing for us and we are so thrilled that we’ve had the opportunity to get it for our son. I recommend it all the time."
