Hello, I took some DayQuil without thinking about the interactions with my trazodone . I took the DayQuil at 1:15 when would it be safe to take my trazodone ? I read a major interaction is possible .

Keeping them 6 to 8 hours apart should just be fine sedation would have been the main problem but you take your Trazodone at bedtime so you gave it plenty of time. Remember you have to ask the pharmacist when you buy something what is the best to use with the medications your on. have a good day hope your feeling better

It was a close call. I ended up really sick yesterday with chills, fever and other symptoms. I guess the issue with taking DayQuil and trazodone is they are both serotonin uppers, I guess too much can be really bad. People need to be so carful with what they take.
Even as careful as I am, as you know all too well lol, it still got by me.
I'm doing good today.

Very true my2 also if you have to ask a question like that again it would help me to know the exact one you have the dayquill comes in several different types of different ingredients so I took a shot for you. But it's a bit hard most people would not be as sensitive as you are but as we know many medications work differently on your body. Have a good evening and hope you are feeling better today.still
