Myelodysplastic Syndrome patients with above 10 hgb level can receive aranesp injection?

The patients with chief complaints Myelodysplastic Syndrome has hgb leval above 10 and hct as 30.6 and i want to know that patient can receive if the hgb level is above 10?

Can Aranesp cause an increase in blood sugar levels?
