Can I split a100mg Ubrelvy tablet in half?

My Doctor gave me 100mg sample of ubrelvy. I’d like to only take 50mg the first time I take it. Is it safe to cut tablet in half?

The question is, why would you want to split the 100 mg tab.
Ubrelvy comes in 50 mg tablets.
If you are splitting your 100 mg tablet in order to be able to take it more often or have a greater monthly supply then this is contraindicated by the manufacturer and headache specialists.

As indicated in the drug patient information section, Ubrelvy, regardless of dose, should not be taken more than 8 times a month. Taking it more than this could lead to MOH (medication overuse headache), which can be severe and more difficult to treat.
More importantly, talk to your prescriber about this.
