Here is my story. I was on 7. 5mg of mirtazapine for anxiety, while it did help a little, it never gave me the relief I was looking for, especially with generalized anxiety and social anxiety, so I started on Zoloft 50mg as I was weaning off mirtazapine, I felt great on day 6-7-8 , by the second week I was taking 3. 5mg of mirtazapine and I increased Zoloft to 100mg, by the 4th week I was no longer on mirtazapine and I was only on Zoloft 100mg, there was a bit of an improvement compared to mirtazapine but I did not feel as good as days 6-7-8 , stomach issue has been the only side effect at that point, by week 8 my doctor suggested I should up my dose to 125mg , I see no improvement and my stomach issues have only gotten worse ( diarrhea ), can it be possible but I need a lower dose instead since I had those good days on 50mg, or could it be that 50 mg was the perfect combo while I was still taking mirtazapine??I feel like maybe I should slowly decrease the dose to perhaps 75mg and I see what happens. I’ve been on Zoloft for about 2. 5 months now. Has anybody noticed better results by lowering the dose?
Sertraline dosage. Can decreasing dose help?
