Does this medication give you the feeling similar to one of a amphetamine? I've heard people say that was the best way they could describe how they physically and mentally affected her.

If you have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, an antidepressant like Zoloft may cause symptoms of mania. So a mood stabilizer also needs to be taken to offset manic symptoms. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms.
