Hello,

I am a 24 year old male and I‘ve been taking deprenyl for 5 months, weekly, sometimes every two weeks or so in the 10 -15 mg range for cognitive enhancement. However, I took my last dose 52 days ago, and I still don’t feel my serotonin back (increased dopamine tanks serotonin). I’ve taken deprenyl for short periods before this long “cycle” and know how it feels like when MAO-B is active (turnover used to be 20-21 days for me) again.

This study claims in-vivo turnover period for MAO-B is 30 days.

I’m sort of worried. I’ve forgotten what happiness feels like, I truly hope it comes back. I've been in this deprenyl-induced depression for too long now. I got out what I wanted, now I need out.

1. Is the enzyme produced in-situ in the brain ( I know it's found all throughout the body ) or in the liver?
2. How do I speed up the turnover?
3. How do test for it ( apart from PET )?

Thank you
