Taking ER 5 mg tablets and they work great. But side effects are a problem - itch, dry mouth, sleepiness in daytime. Wondering if I could take them every other day.

This med is to be taken everyday or as prescribed by your DR..
How long have you been on it? Because side effects most commonly subside within the 1st week to 10 days top.
Have a word with your Dr., before you do anything.
