Can I take nitrofurantoin if allergic to amoxicillin'?

Yes, they are different chemical compounds.
They work via different mechanisms, nitrofurantoin mainly in the bladder, amoxicillin the blood stream as a broad stream antibiotic.
To be sure consult your pharmacist or Doctor. I can't take many broad stream antibiotics because of reactions, but I can take nitrofurantoin with no issues.

I would certainly ask your pharmacist / physician. I personally cannot take either, so I'm not sure if there is a correlation but it would be worth looking into.
