... I have been consistently and correctly taking Loestrin 24 Fe since January. I have never missed an active pill. I re-started my active pills two Sundays ago after all the brown pills had run out. YET, I forgot to take an active pill either on the Monday or Wednesday following (it wasn't until Wednesday that I realized I had forgotten one, and I do not know which day it was because it was a stressful week). Either way, I took it immediately that Wednesday night that I realized I had missed an active pill and have been taking all other active pills at the same time as usual since then. My boyfriend and I had sex on Monday (a day when I MAY have forgotten to take the pill) and then again on Thursday (a day after I realized I had missed a pill on either Monday or Wednesday). I've read the packet information through and through, and it says that you do not need to use back up birth control in the case of missing just one pill.
My question is: Should I be concerned even though the packet information says that missing one pill does not require you to use back up birth control? I am overwhelmingly nervous and could use some advice about what to do. We are not in a place to have a child yet, and I don't want to spend the rest of July worried about this.
