My dad had his first treatment almost two weeks ago and he, and he has really bad mood swings. The tysabri is being used as a last resort due to his avonex weekly shot is no longer working. He has had ms for 20 years, and in the last two years it has gotten really bad. He is not taking the tysabri for the crippling affects to his limbs it is being used to slow the progression on his brain. He has developed four new lesions in the last 4 months. Should I contact his docte?
Will this medication cause severe mood swings?
