I received my second round of Lucentis for my macular edema yesterday. I am using the Replens moisturizing drops given to me to help flush out the Betadine and room temp compresses for pain. I am still extremely uncomfortable. Any suggestions? (My treatment yesterday was more difficult as the first injections to deaden my eyes were ineffectve and the doctor had to inject both eyes a second time to numb them properly. I figure this added irritation is why I am finding this round more painful.) Any advice?
