Lexapro - Lexapro weeks 5 & 6 effects. Do the positive effects start to kick in?

Many people feel a least some improvement in the first few weeks but it can sometimes take 6-8 weeks for the medication to become fully effective for depression and longer for anxiety.
If you don't feel any better at all you should let your doctor know. It may be that you need to give it more time or need a dosage adjustment.
