I started taking metformin yesterday and now my eye lids are swollen. is that a side effect?

Swelling of the mouth has been reported as one its side effects, which could lead in swelling of the eyes, however you need to talk to your doc who prescribed the drug at the soonest, he/she would be able to guide you better & professionally, hope this helps?
