I lost about 10 # over 3 months after starting Lisinopril. does this taper off after being on the medication for a longer period of time? probabaly doesn't help that I also started an exercise program about the same time. only weighed 135 to begin with. too skinny now, going to have to change medications.
I read that weight loss can also be a side effect of lisinopril?

Lisinopril does help eliminate excess body fluids, this help keep BP down. So that is probably what is happening. It is not a weight loss medication and does not cause weight loss. Although your hair might start falling out, that is one of the side effects.
