Respected Member.
I do not know the type of infection. Doctors diagnosed it differently, one of the dermatologist diagnosed it as insect bite (ridiculous) and others only told me that this is skin (fungal) infection. These are not large sized soars, but pimples larger than their normal size
you should talk to doctor and use prescription-strength anti-fungal cream and oral anti-fungal medication together. This 2 step treatment is more effective at killing the fungus.
anti-fungal creams include ketoconazole, ciclopirox or selenium sulfide
oral medications include fluconazole, itraconazole or ketoconazole. Some patients must take the medication monthly to keep the infection from returning.
good luck
Are you certain it is not an allergic reaction to mosquito bites? My nephew and brother get bumps even the size of nickels. Also my brother gets hives or rash on his body when he even breathes shellfish being boiled. Either way..if it could be allergic reaction try benedryl liquid along with benedryl ointment or spray. (Except on face) Swelling should go down within an hour if its that.
