one member here had to find out for a court case and she called reckitt-benckiser, the manufacturer of suboxone. They told her she could test positive for up to 24 days. Suboxone is a long acting medication, so, that is why a person might test positive for so long afterwards, it is a guess on anyone's part exactly how long, but this person passed after 11 days on a urine and hair follicle test and she was really sweating that test. I think if a person takes it for an extended period of time to treat opiate withdrawal, they probably are the one who test positive for up to 24 days on a mail to the lab test, but it is really not supposed to be used off and on like you did. The reason I state this is you could get into a situation where you will make your brain used to the long acting effect of suboxone, and the opana is not going to be as effective.

I agree that is should not be uses in that manner... I myself have been on suboxone for 5 years(NOT recommended). When i started treatment i had already tried one to see how it would affect me(NOT RECOMMENDED), when i went in for my initial pre-screen test 3 days later it did NOT show up. It seems to me that you need to choose get on suboxone or stay on the opana.

Suboxone's main ingredient is(buprenorphine),it has chemicals in it that block other opiates, for a self-life of up to three days.So if you are taking opana(Which is one of the highest pain type med you can be on,generally only used for people under going chemo-therapy)&take suboxone the next day you can actually sand yourself into A higher, instant level of Withdraweal syptoms,(precipitative withdrawal)..After you have taken suboxone your opana really won't work the same because of the blocking agents(sends signal to the brain to block effects of most opiates) in the suboxone for up to 3 days when it is out of you system(depending on metabolism)That does not mean you waill always pass a drug test after 3 days, that is only "the shelf-life"(the period in time where you can still feel the affects in your body)!!Also you can go to drug interactions&see that any other opiate thype drug is a high risk for Suboxone user's as well as benzos(zanax, ativan, colnasapam etc)and you could God forbid possibly go into a coma or worse die.Suboxone can also be used for a very affective pain reliever!I have seen soo many people's lives(old&young) ruined over opanas&there are actually thinking about re-calling it!!I could say a lot more but i do not know your total situation!I wish you the best!
