How long after your last drink can u start taking the anabuse?

Hello ayshea. I'd wait 48 hours to be on the safe side. 24 is reallistic but knowing antabuse, it works much like a bomb. And alcohol, no matter how minimal the amount, will set of the side effects, which can be very serious, deadly in fact. So, I'd wait the 48 hours, that way you are safe. You might ask your doctor or pharmacist to confirm, or ask thier opinion. Best of wishes,pledge
