Hi,

I woke up yesterday morning with a swollen triceps after a pretty heavy exercise day. Upon further observation I saw that there was something resembling fluid underneath the skin above the elbow going towards the triceps and on the two sides on the elbow. (Not on the top.)

The "fluid" reaches further up along my triceps and is jiggly when pressed - it dangles fluid when I hold my arm up. I have not been exerting it further, and have been resting it and icing it for 20 minute intervals 2 times a day. When iced it shrinks a little bit. When I squeeze the fluid gently, it seems to dent in the form of my fingers for a short while.

During the workout I didn't feel any abnormal pain, any snapping, or anything resembling discomfort. I have also not been eating or injecting anything - I keep a normal healthy diet of meat, vegetables, nuts and fruit, and plenty of water.

Also I want to add that it is not red or blue or yellow - normal skin color, it does not hurt when pressed, I have full arm motion (checked with sevreal light exercises with no weights), I don't have fatigue or overly sore muscles. The arm has normal flexibility and normal range of motion.

This morning it was the same size. Yesterday, however my left arm was OK, and today it is swolen in the same fashion.

It just feels like a sack of fluid between my muscle and my skin. Any ideas what it is?
