Hi,
I've been on combined monophasic bc pills for almost a year (10 months). Last month I had to take antibiotics, I kept taking bc with them as well. Went away and now we're here. I had a normal period, started on the normal day. I got back onto a new pack yesterday.
My boyfriend and I are planning on having sex without a condom today or tomorrow.
My question is, everyone says that if you forget a pill, you will get pregnant. But you miss 7 while on your off week. I don't understand how that works? Is it cause you've taken 21 pills and that's enough to cover you over that week? That's always confused me. I would like to know if I'm protected a normal amount. I have never missed a pill, but last month I took a couple a few minutes late (20 at the latest).
Thank you for your input

How effective is birth control once you've gotten back on it from your off week?
