I've never had a yeast infection before this I took the pill today and put a monistat (3) in. I'm still itching and slightly burning. How long until something works? I'm supposed to be going to New Mexico tomorrow...
I went to the doctor today to find out I had a yeast infection he gave me a pill and I got monistat?

The itching is almost unbearable I have some raw spots now so I can barely pee without crying.
