My mom has CML and was on Gleevec for 16 years she was part of fda trials with Dr Druker . Gleevec stopped working last year and they put her on Sprycell she lost 3 dress sizes in 5 months and fluid filled with lungs. They took her off it 27 days ago but she still has fluid. She is hooked to machine to drain fluid. Note said fluid drain for 12 weeks is that correct. What is length. Also has ulcer and severe gastritis. She never had any of these problems on Gleevec. Any ideas. Drs are at a loss?
