Contrave - Did anyone have increased anger and temper???

I felt weird on the very first dose. I felt aggressive, short tempered and just weird. I didn't have much energy but, still cooked breakfast and did some chores. I didn't have any nausea. Most of it was in my head. I wasn't very hungry and ate a little. I drank some chamomile tea because that usually helps me chill and it did a little bit. Taking my second dose today and praying the side effects aren't as bad. I thought this was supposed to give me energy and make me feel better but, I have to say I'm a tad worried about taking this a going to work tomorrow. Has anyone had this and the side effects eventually stop? I'm so glad I found this group.

Yes, I have had the patience and anger issues. It seems everyone around me is making my skin crawl. BUT, I have lost 30 lbs. since Christmas. I forget to eat and I want to exercise any chance I can get. It’s weird. I also have experienced low labido. Anyone else???

Ohhh boy do I. I've been on it for 2 month now and I get the headaches, jaw and neck tension, which is what I think causes the headaches. The aggressive behavior and I'm typically not that type of person. Extreme lethargy and Fog Brain. I can't focus, finding myself staring at my computer minutes at a time trying to figure out what I'm doing at work. I was under the impression that side effects stay 2-3 weeks at most. I'm at the end of 2 months and just don't see them going away. And to top it off... no weight loss, only from ME actually telling myself no to additional eating. So at this point, I'm going to have to call it quits. Not working and not worth the side effects. I was totally hoping it was going to help with my menopause cravings at night.

Yes! It happened to me too. Don't know what's up with that. With Wellbutrin in it I thought it would have the opposite affect. I find I have absolutely no patience whatsoever! I also get a lot of tension in my neck. I had to stop taking it for about a week and am just starting back. Had the nausea and headache again yesterday! Hate these side effects!
