I'm taking Cilest but I still get some period pains, does anyone know if Yasmin is better for stopping these or maybe another pill?

Generally nomatter which birth control you're on, if you experience uterine bleeding there are bound to be a bunch of unpleasent symptoms that come along with it. When you shed your uterine lining, your uterus contracts and that's what causes the pain. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about this besides finding a monophasic pill suitable for taking continuously (no breaks for periods) as I do. I take ovral continuously and haven't menstruated since. If you're not keen on the idea of that then you could try taking 2 adcodolls with one inza to help with the cramps, they're over the counter pain and anti inflammatory meds. Also invest in a heating pad or bean bag you can heat up and hold on your tummy, it really helps.
Its hard to say one is better then another. Everyone has a pill they do good with but its not the same ones. Yasmin has been known to be very helpful for many.
