I have been taking this drug now for three days 500mg twice a day. I have noticed that my blood pressure is running higher than normal 145/85. I do take BP meds. I wonder if this med is causing this.

I believe it does. I do was on Keflex and after about 4 days my blood pressure in the ER was 244/110. It took me 5 hours in the ER with treatment to get it back to normal. I quit taking the antibiotic and after about 2 days I was back to normal and felt better
I have been on Keflex for 5 days (500mg ever 6 hours) and my blood pressure is running 193/115. Yesterday it was 205/ 120. The ER was able to get it down to 165/105. I have never had a problem with my blood pressure before.
Looking into my Lexicomp Drug Interaction Handbook 21th addition... there are no indications that it raises blood pressure..however..that does not rule out a paridoxatol reaction
I also have the problem. I have been taking 3 days and my BP went up over 200.
