I been on this pill for 2 years. Never missed a pill. I got worried and took an emergency pill yesterday for protection. My bf did not used a condom. Did I do okay, taking the emergency pill or was I protected with my birth control pills? I take my pills every morning same time.

I am currently on birth control pills Apri and never missed a pill. Yesterday I was on my 7th pill.

If you’ve been taking your pills daily and about the same time each day you probably didn’t need the “emergency pill”. Condom or not you should be safe, yes- nothing is 100% but try not to worry about it.

Hello again. on Sunday night I took NyQuil for a cough can Nyquil decrease my birth control effectiveness? I take my birth control pill in the mornings and Saturday on I took the emergency pill. Thanks in advance
