... and famiodine two years ago I cleared and my biopsies were negative. The problem, taking a proton-pump inhibitor for that long caused me to get osteoporosis. I been under the care of an endocrinologist and have been taking daily injections of Forteo, which is very costly, but my last bone scan was good, with no sign of osteoporosis. You can only take Forteo for two years and I will be done in two weeks. During this period I have continued my stomach meds as I don't wish to incur cancer of the esophagus, along with massive doses of calcium and D3. I heard an ad on TV about "new" drug for GERDS but was unable to remember it and if it does not draw minerals out of my bones, that would be great. Anyone know what this drug is? Jon
