I learned early on in life that birth control pills can also cause UTI's. It changes the body's chemistry and UTI sets in. There are now at-home UTI test kits with strips to dip in the urine that will tell you if you have an infection & they're pretty reliable. You still have to go to the doc's to get an antibiotic or ask him to call one in for you. If there is no sign of infection you could have a condition known as interstitial cystitis which is part of overactive bladder that does not need antibiotics. Azo works great for that.
