I have hypothalamic amenorrhea and the doctor wants me on birth control (even though I already cannot get pregnant due to no cycle - which FYI is very hard to me to handle emotionally) to provide a source of estrogen (with my condition have dangerously low levels of estrogen for my age: 26).
I am very sensitive to medicines (highly allergic to all pain killers and EVERYTHING even allergy meds constipate me - I am on a prescription for chronic constipation as it is). So naturally my first concern is: Is constipation common among Aviane users? (I was previously on apri and desogen with HORRIBLE constipation, weight gain, acne, and mood swings).
Secondly, will aviane cause weight GAIN or LOSS? Weight gain is a huge concern of mine - I am a recovered bulimic at a healthy weight now but am extremely concerned that weight gain may send me in a downward spiral and so I do not take anything that may cause this.
PLEASE HELP! I've read so many reviews that my head is spinning!
