Aripiprazole - Worsening of positive symptoms in psychosis/schizophrenia?

How long have you been on the aripiprazole? It can take a few days, or sometimes a few weeks, for aripiprazole to start helping you. You may not feel the full effects of the medication for four to six weeks. It’s hard to be exact as aripiprazole works differently for each person.
If you have seen no change in symptoms after two or three weeks, you should talk to your doctor about your progress or lack of.
The psychiatric side effects generally resolve within the first week or two but if they're persistent let your doctor know.
It would be a good idea anyway to talk with your doctor about your current situation and get their professional advice.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. While I have taken Abilify a few times over the years, I can’t speak to your complaints. I took it for severe depression once with another antidepressant and a couple of times on its own. I never had any negative side effects besides some weight gain but, I found it ineffective the last round I was on it. I would definitely call or make an appt with your dr and explain what’s going on. We all respond differently to all medications and maybe it’s just not a good fit for you. Hope you feel better soon :) Definitely call the Dr so you can get to feeling better!!
