Zanaflex is a muscle relaxer just like flexeril, soma, baclofen, and zanax is a beno (nerve pill) just like valuim, klonopin, ativan, they are two totally different drugs and muscle relaxers are not controlled substances where nerve pills are a schedule iv controlled substance. Hope this helps.

Just so you understand completely... this is a controlled substance. It is not a narcotic. A controlled substance is ANYTHING that you need a prescription to get. You can be arrested if you have ANY controlled substance that is not in a prescription bottle with YOUR name on it. Even if it is an antibiotic or blood pressure medicine.
