I have a hard time now getting up and if I’ve been sitting for a while I have to stand for a few seconds before I’m able to walk stiff-legged. I’ve been on it a year and a half now.
Does anyone taking anastrozole have problems with their hips?

Yes, 1st year Ok, no noticeable changes, 2nd year unbearable pain. Front, back, side hip pain. Before starting this drug had already been diagnosed with a degenerative disc disease, at 65 I move like 90. I now sit on Carex cushions on my chairs, have added a mattress pad on top of my mattress and most importantly now use Diclofenac Epolamine topical patches daily. My pain is so bad I truly question if I can do this for 5 years.
Been on Anastrozole for two years now along with the ibandoric acid. Have had various side effects from both. Slight inching mostly arms and back. Joint pains are the worst take the anastrozole at night. Hot sweats often in the night, not many sweats in the day. The leg stiffness is probably common I try to adjust the way I sit which helps. Just have to carry on with the meds don’t want the cancer to return.
