I had first seizure when I was 13 years old. I was told there is a small (very very small) blood clot in brain. According to Dr. it shouldn't have cause me seizure but apparently it is the only cause for my seizure. Dr gave me carbamazepine then. I took that medicine for almost 5 years. Then Dr. suggested me to quit it, within 30 days the seizure came back. I again started taking it. I took Carbamazepine for almost 8 years. After that I switched to Phenobarbital. I took that for 4 years. Then again Dr switched me to Clonzopam. I was taking it since I was 25. Earlier I used to take 2.5mg daily 2 times. Then I lowered my dose to 2.5mg daily on 2009. On 2013 I lowered my dose to 2.5mg on alternate days. I'm 32 years now. Recently, Dr asked me to switch to Trokendi. I'm on switching phase. Of course clonzopam use to make me a little dizzy for hour and two, dry mouth etc and very fewer times I used to scare out of nothing expect for that I didn't had any problem. Now I'm starting trokendi. I'm taking trokendi in alternate days 50mg. (Also I'm taking clonaz 1mg alternate days since I'm in transition phase) I think that's a very less dose for adult. I am already feeling nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, dizziness, I feel I cannot control my eye movement etc. Dr is trying to make me take 100mg per day. I already feeling like quitting trokendi but I also need to get rid of clonaz. Are any of you having seizure and taking any anti-epileptic medicine? I need suggestion if there is any medicine which has very less side effect and control the seizure. I wish there was something which could cure the seizure. Is there anything (literally anything in this world) which can cure seizure or epilepsy? :'(
PS: I'm a lady who want to have a baby in future :'(
