My docteur prescribed 10 mg a day(at night) to control pain following a shoulder and arm injury that is very long to get better. I took it for 2 days and did not sleep because of palpitations. Today I took it in the morning to see the difference. Ever happened to you? thx

Answers
Yes, I also had this uncommon side effect when I was put on it for migraines.
Did the palpitations got away after some time or you had to stop taking the medication?
Thank you for your answer!!!
I was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat years ago. The palpitations triggered this so I stopped the medication. I waited a few days and started it again (just to make sure it was the medication), the palpitations started again so I stopped taking it for good that time. Some side-effects stop naturally after your body adjusts to the meds, but that one was just too uncomfortable for me to have that kind of wait and see attitude! Personally, I'd stop taking it and report back to your Dr. There are too many alternatives to endure that kind of reaction. I wish you the best of luck!
