I tend to lose interest in accomplishing anything. I switched from Adderall 60mg and I feel that it may have worked better. Could a lower dose of Dexedrine work better? I take 6mg of alprazolam also everyday. Could that be affecting the efficacy of the Dexedrine? If I lower my dose of the alprazolam could that make the efficacy of the Dexedrine better? What if I sustain from eating food after I take my dose for two hours and lower my alprazolam dose could that make the efficacy better
I take 60mgs of Dexedrine a day instant release. It doesn't seem to last that long and after 3pm.

Ask your doctor about an extended release formulation of the Dexedrine. You're taking pretty high doses of both medications and Dexedrine is a stimulant whereas alprazolam is a tranquilizer. They may be working at cross purposes.
You must consult with your doctor before making any adjustments to either of your dosages. These drugs are very addictive and must be taken exactly as prescribed by a professional.

You're absolutely correct. I think I am going to cut my alprazolam dose down to at least 1 1/2 milligrams for a week and then down to 1milligram a week until I get down to 1/4 milligram daily and perhaps cut my dose down from 30 milligrams Dexedrine twice a day to 30 milligrams once a day immediately and see how the effects are. Maybe the efficacy of the Dexedrine will improve over time.

You should be discussing this with your prescribing doctor rather than doing it on your own. You're risking withdrawals among other things.

My doctor is the one who prescribed it. I need to know how to take both medications carefully and safely and therapeutically.
