are you still taking morphine? if not pump for 48hrs, then it should be okay...

Hey wafer,
Approximately 90% of a parenteral dose of morphine appears in the urine within 24 hours as the product of glucuronide conjugation. Most of the remainder is excreted in the bile and eliminated in the feces. The plasma half life is 3 hours so the morphine should be out of your system within 24 hours of your last dose.
Incidently, morphine is excreted into human milk in trace amounts. Adverse effects in the nursing infant are unlikely. Morphine is considered compatible with breast-feeding by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
