Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking carbetapentane / chlorpheniramine: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

• fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat;

• confusion, unusual thoughts or behavior, seizure (convulsions);

• severe dizziness, anxiety, restless feeling, or nervousness;

• urinating less than usual or not at all; or

• slow, shallow breathing.

Less serious side effects of carbetapentane / chlorpheniramine may include:

• dizziness, drowsiness;

• blurred vision;

• dry mouth, nose, or eyes; or

• nausea, stomach pain, constipation, loss of appetite.
