Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking zinc oxide topical (the active ingredient contained in Dr Smith's Diaper) hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using zinc oxide rectal suppositories if you have rectal bleeding or continued pain.
