Menotropins Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Warnings
Menotropins is also known as: Humegon, Menopur, Pergonal, Repronex
Overview
Do not use Menotropins if you are or become pregnant. If you suspect that you could be pregnant, contact your doctor. It is unknown if Menotropins is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using Menotropins, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Menotropins Pregnancy Warnings
Menotropins have been assigned to pregnancy category X by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Menotropins are considered contraindicated during pregnancy.
Menotropins Breastfeeding Warnings
There are no data on the excretion of menotropins into human milk. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering menotropins to nursing women.
