Guanethidine Pregnancy Warnings
Guanethidine has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. There are no data on the use of guanethidine during animal or human pregnancy. Guanethidine should only be given during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
Guanethidine Breastfeeding Warnings
Guanethidine is excreted into human milk in small amounts. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering guanethidine to nursing women.
