"If you plan to take DMSA for mercury poisoning, ensure that you visit a dentist who is well-trained in safely removing fillings from your teeth. Also, avoid taking eight pills at once and then wondering why you feel unwell. Be patient and take one 100mg pill every Sunday. Mercury caused me to suffer from chronic ulcerative colitis for three years, which was deemed incurable and nearly resulted in my death. However, after taking DMSA and removing the fillings, I started healing within weeks. Within a few months, I could leave my house without fear of experiencing colitis symptoms. It has now been nearly two decades, and I have not experienced diarrhea or colitis again. When taking DMSA, take it slow and exercise caution. If you have a heavy metal overload, the initial doses may give you headaches, but drinking plenty of water can alleviate them. As far as I know, nothing can pass through the blood-brain barrier and remove heavy metal from the brain except DMSA. Therefore, DMSA is essential."

"Retching and diarrhea started 10 hour after taking DMSA I was prescribed 8 pills to get rid of mercury. Nausea lasted 13 hours and I remained sick for weeks. Same thing happened 5 weeks later, only time spent retching was less because I took anti nausea medicine. Stayed sick for 2 weeks. Weak, sweating (felt like insides were burning up and outsides were chilled.). shaky, fatigued, dry mouth and skin. These symptoms have gotten worse. Yesterday, 9 weeks later, feeling bad again. Took blood pressure (it had always been low, 117/72) and it was 192 over 103. It went up to 210/103. Still very high today but lower than yesterday. Doctor may need to put me on blood pressure medicine, if drinking lots of water doesn’t lower it. "
