Tavneos (avacopan) "I was a study patient given Tavneos for 12 months. The drug failed to induce remission after 6 months and increased the rate of kidney damage based on my GFR, BUN, and Creatine blood levels. It did cut my prednisone dose by 1.5 mg. The trade off wasn't worth the risk. Be careful, the company is hyping the phase III study data out of context and beyond the FDA approved label"
