Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Please do not let these reviews scare you like I almost did. I held off multiple weeks because of all these death-like reviews. Finally, when I did decide to just start—I hunkered down like the outside world was about to end. Did the world end? No. I was perfectly fine. Were there the occasional burp and heartburn? Yes. But nothing that wasn’t manageable. I’m over 14 weeks in now, and I barely have a side effect at all. My point—everyone’s body is different. Try it for yourself."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started 3 weeks ago and every Monday I inject myself with a .25 mg dose. I started this medication because at age 47 even though I tried so hard to exercise and diet my weight was a roller coaster ride and I would bounce back to my heaviest weight. My weight when I started was 170 lbs which was 3 weeks ago. After a week I am down to 159 lbs, then second week 157 lbs, I weigh myself yesterday and I am down 155 lbs that's 15 lbs less. The first week I had a little heartburn, and the second week was a little dizzy because you can go a day without being hungry at all. End of the second week I had no side effects at all. I am surprised that again I can go a day without being hungry at all but of course, I force myself to eat something even with food I will eat but will be so full easily. I take protein shakes daily as my meal replacement. I'm taking fiber (gummies) so I can go to the bathroom with no problem and it helps a lot. Overall I am pretty happy with the result."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I call this a wonder drug. Dropped my A1C to 5.8, so far, and I barely have to worry about counting carbs or finger sticks. I didn’t check my BG levels once the last 6 months and ate pretty much what I wanted “within reason”. I still stay away from sugary drinks and limit my carb intake but other than that I feel back to “normal”. The only side effect I’ve experienced is the appetite suppression. Lost 40 lbs because of that side effect. I happily tell all my family and friends who are also type 2 all about my experiences. Some have also begun to take Ozempic as well. I can’t endorse this medication enough!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was prescribed Wegovy for weight loss purposes. I'm 5'11 and 225 pounds with a BMI of 31%, so I can be considered obese. I've been on it for one week and have lost 7 pounds. I'm starting with the lowest dosage (.25). First of all, the injection was completely painless (for me). I also inject Humira bi-weekly, so maybe I'm just used to it, but I was shocked to feel absolutely nothing. I questioned if I was doing it right because it was so painless. Do not let some testimonials scare you! I did a lot of research while waiting for the drug to come back into stock. 90% of what I read were complaints about vomiting, diarrhea, and some people getting so sick they had to stop taking it. Some of these reviews were written after only a week or two of using the drug. So far, my personal experience has been completely different from what I've read. That could change as I increase the dosage. As of right now, the only side effect I'm experiencing is a complete lack of appetite."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "For me it is a miracle drug! I have had no side effects and have been on it since December of 2021. I was doing other medications, that helped a little, but I was stuck teetering between 190-195 could not pass that. As soon as I started Wegovy the weight started to come off. I am now right around 160 and I am close to my goal. I am also 60 which makes weight loss even more difficult. I highly recommend this treatment!"

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "My health wasn't good, so I fired the nurse practitioner I was seeing and got an internist doctor. Found out my thyroid was almost non-functional, high blood pressure, and my pre-diabetes rate was on a serious climb. 1 year later, I was at the right dose of Synthroid. Doctor put me on metformin and phentermine, and added Ozempic 2 weeks later at 0.25. That was a rough ride; I was nauseated and dizzy a lot! I started at 265 lbs, and every day I would see a pound or 2 come off. As of this morning, I weighed in at 239, and I'm up to 1 mg dose of Ozempic weekly. I take the anti-nausea now just before my Ozempic dose, and that's it. I use doTERRA ginger. A1C down to 5! I'm glad I listened to my doctor and my pharmacist and stuck with it. Anything worth having doesn't usually come easy! I would like to get down to the 160-170 range; I'm 5'11'', and thinner than that, I start to look like Olive Oyl! OH Popeye!"

Rybelsus (semaglutide) "I was put on this medication by my internist at the beginning of 2020 for weight loss. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which causes insulin resistance despite the fact that I'm not diabetic. It makes it extremely hard to lose weight. My doctor thought I would be a good candidate for Rybelsus and had seen success with others. I lost almost 30 pounds in two months while taking Rybelsus and going to the gym 3 times a week. However, I had to stop going to the gym during the pandemic and continued the medication. I started having severe gastrointestinal issues about a month ago. I had to have an EGD, HIDA scan, and ultrasound done to discover I have gallstones. My gallbladder is functioning perfectly though and my cholesterol is always good so all signs point to the fact that Rybelsus gave me gallstones. Gallstones are an 'infrequent yet severe side effect' listed by the drug manufacturer. BEWARE! I never had these issues until I started taking Rybelsus!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy for almost 7 weeks, and have lost over 22 lbs. From the moment I took the first injection the food noise was gone. At times it feels progress is slow, but in truth the progress has been steady. I have not started dieting or exercising, I am focusing on eating healthier and listening to my body for signs that I am full. I have heard of bad side effects, though I personally have not experienced any. Prior to this medication I have lost, gained and relost 50-100 lbs over and over again."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "57 yr old on this for 3 1/2 weeks. I'd like to tell you how much I lost (was 4 pounds at 3 weeks) but I am so constipated for 4 days I cannot be sure what my real weight is (it could be 6 pounds now). Get a telemedicine provider to send you a vial of semaglutide (not the pre loaded syringes) and use an insulin syringe to administer 1/2 the dose on one day with a ODT Zofran, then take the second half of the dose 24 hours later with another ODT Zofran. I administer in my outer thigh, like you would give insulin. The provider will tell you exactly how many "units" to administer per week, just cut it in half say Saturday and Sunday. Take a stool softener on Sunday, which I forgot to do this week! I have had zero gastrointestinal issues, no nausea, no vomiting. The Zofran may be causing some of the constipation and I don't consider this a real issue, just a minor side effect with an easy fix. I am a Nurse Practitioner, so I have been watching everything for real side effects. I'll update."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took Wegovy for a few month and did in fact lose some weight. The side effect are terrible as so many others have noted here. One thing that they don’t tell you is that the drug slows down the stomach ability to empty. This is why people feel full and experience reflux, nausea, etc. In my case the drug not only slowed down my stomach ability to empty it permanently paralyzed my stomach muscles, a condition called gastroparesis. The only remedy was to have a neurotransmitter implanted in my stomach which forces the muscles to move. Do NOT take or first this medication. You could end up like me with a lifetime medical issue. No weight loss is worth that."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Just finished the last shot of 2.4 mg pack. I’ve lost 27 pounds and literally do not think about food. No cravings, and I eat normally (albeit smaller amounts). Some side effects at the beginning but nothing terrible and they all eventually stopped. If you can afford it - this is a life changer."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Started April 1, 2021, on Ozempic low dose. 3-week intervals it was increased. Side effects were constipation (went on laxatives to help), pain in my back (severe), bloating. Week 11 increased to 1mg, the side effects were major bloating, diarrhea, sounds in my stomach (crazy), nauseous, feeling under the weather. My appetite has decreased to the point that I only eat 2 meals a day that are small. My sugar levels have decreased from 7.1 to 5.2 A1C. I’ve noticed that I have been kept awake some nights like I’m nervous for some reason. In the first 3 weeks, I’ve lost 15 pounds. Haven’t checked since I want to wait but can feel a difference. The pains in the stomach are really uncomfortable, and the bloating I will try gas-x for relief. When I try to eat more than I should, my body tells me that I’m full. If I go beyond that point, I get severe pains in the stomach for hours. But depends on what I eat. Going to stay with smaller portions/healthier foods."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Wegovy since August 2021. I am down 45 pounds. I did low carb with this which has really helped me to lose the weight I have wanted to lose. The side effects are very real, extreme constipation and nausea for two days after injection. The doctor prescribed Zofran for the nausea and I have taken a stool softener for the constipation. All things said, it really helped curb my appetite. But you have to diet with it."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been on Wegovy for a little over a month now. My first injection of the .5mg dose was Friday (3/24/23). The weight loss has been fairly slow, but steady. The main thing that I've noticed is that it makes me feel full after I eat. I know it sounds strange, but for some reason, I've never felt hungry or full-- I ate when people told me and didn't stop eating until my plate was clean since I was a kid. Now, after I eat a bit, I feel full and stop eating. I've learned to be choosier with what I eat, opting for healthy things, protein and fiber, and less fat, and carbs. No crazy fad diets or anything, just being more mindful. My injections are Fridays, and I've noticed that Sundays are the worst days, but after 2 weeks on a dose, the side effects are pretty minimal. Just started the .5mg dose and so this past Sunday was bad, but my doctor gave me a PRN script for Zofran to help with nausea. I hope this review helps someone."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I began Wegovy in late August '21. I had bariatric surgery in 2000. Menopause, major life changes, and COVID resulted in a 60 lb weight gain over 5 years. It's May 1, and I've lost a total of 81 lbs. My BMI has gone from 38 to 25, and I never got to the 2.4 injection. I had slight nausea and 2 incidents of gastrointestinal uncertainty ('sharts') the first 2 weeks, but nothing after that. I walked 1.5 - 2.0 miles 6 or 7 days weekly, ate a high-protein, low-carb diet, switched to 50/50 Stevia/Sugar as a sweetener, and ceased eating after 8 pm nightly. I feel great, and because of my weight loss, I can delay my other hip replacement. Wegovy gave me a second chance at better health, and I'll continue to use it for maintenance."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "My doctor gave me Ozempic 0.5 to start with. I always had upset stomach, diarrhea with most foods, and an overall sick feeling all the time. I was able to 'live' with it until now. She decided to up my dose to the 1.0 and my body went into total chaos. I am always nauseous, constipated, got reflux, feels like my food is stuck in my stomach and doesn't go anywhere. I'm constantly burping and feeling bloated. The sick feeling feels intensified and I cannot function at work. I took my last one this past Friday night and was miserable all weekend long. Today I am at work unable to function at my best because the nausea is bad. I would say it is effective in lowering your blood sugar numbers and helping you lose weight but not worth feeling horribly sick over. I will not be using this medication any longer."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Drug has been life-changing. When I began, I was 6'3'' and 357 lbs. Today is exactly 4 months in, and I'm down 60 lbs exactly. Blood pressure meds cut in half, discontinued Lasix and potassium pills. Currently taking 2.4 mg/weekly. My side effects have been relatively non-existent. Early on, some gastro upset and heartburn, but all went away with time."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been on Wegovy for 7 weeks. Lost 14 pounds. 2nd week into 0.50 mg. It’s a little rough on my stomach. Taking prescription for nausea which happens the day of the injection. Feel tired and occasionally get severe abdominal pains. I can’t eat much and have to really watch the types of food. No greasy foods or spicy or heavy. The intestinal pains were very severe after eating wrong foods. I’m happy with the weight loss but the side effects are rough."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Started with the 0.25 dose & after 5 weeks went to 0.50. Side effects were minimal, mostly just an upset stomach for the first day after a shot. Pens were easy to use & directions easy to follow. My A1c went from 10.3 to 6.2 after 90 days & I lost 22 lbs. I made significant dietary changes, which were helped because overeating gave me that 'too full to move' feeling you get on Thanksgiving, even with small portions. I eat 4-5 times a day but in small portions & calories under 1200 daily. Constipation was avoided by an increase in fiber/vegetables and water."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Wegovy for over a month now, it has been a life changer for me. Very few side effects. I have way more energy, I can fit into clothes that were so tight I couldn't wear them, and I have fewer aches and pains. My mindset is so different. I am 5 11', started at 263 lbs. (Obese) I have lost almost 15 lbs. This stuff pretty much keeps those hunger cravings away. I have changed my eating habits as well, I only eat fruits, veggies, and salads, I do plan on going back to some of my other favs' but for now, I'm sticking to no pasta, pizza, bread, or desserts. I only eat between the hours of 6 am to 3 pm. I have been walking around a 1/2 mile per day on my lunch breaks. I do not eat much, seems like I get full very quickly. Another benefit, I have bitten my nails my entire life, since starting Wegovy, I have not touched them, it's quite unbelievable."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took my first shot of .25 5 days ago. I was extremely nervous about taking it due to all of the negative side effects that I read others have had. I decided to inject in my upper thigh late on a Friday afternoon, so that if I did feel sick I had the weekend to take it easy and deal with it. The injection was painless and very easy to administer myself. I honestly noticed no side effects after taking it, other than not thinking about food as much and wanting to eat a little less. I did push the boundaries on the third evening after taking it and I did have bad nausea (I actually vomited) and felt generally ill for about 16 hours (not bad enough to not work though). I pushed the boundaries by over eating air fried chicken wings (no sauce) that were a bit more greasy/oily than normal. Those really set me off and I realized that I: 1. can no longer eat any type of greasy food and 2. cannot eat too much. As long as I stick to my normal healthy, low carb diet, I feel just fine (so far)."
