"Took the edge of the pain. Did boost my mood, and the tiredness took a day or two to adjust too. The worst was the dry mouth- I couldn't go anywhere without a bottle of water- and my blood pressure dropped to a dangerous low. When my doctor took me off it, I ended up in the ER with a Flare up I hadn't experienced since being on the medicine."

"Still had unbearable pain at times. Pain was still 24/7, but some what reduced, Very bad dry mouth, felt like I was choking all the time. I was always tired, but unable to sleep. Did not help suicidal thoughts."

"I’m taking nortriptyline 30mg in addition to Pregabalin 150mg per day. The Pregabalin wasn’t helpful enough on its own even when on a dose of 450mg per day. Nortriptyline has allowed me to bear more weight on my affected arm and increased my arm’s tolerance to being used (rsd in shoulder and arm). This has allowed me to be able to do more basic daily activities. Without it I wouldn’t be able to do most chores, grocery shop, or even drive very far. I am very slowly adding on more activities. When I am on Pregabalin only, my progress remains stagnant and I have to rest most of the time to manage the pain. Side effects are annoying (morning tiredness, headache, brain fog and dry mouth) but they’re better than the pain and lack of function. I’d rate it a 10 if it weren’t for the side effects."
