MethylPREDNISolone Dose Pack (methylprednisolone) for Gout, Acute "I usually wait to take this drug in the hope that the gout pain will pass. I ALWAYS regret not taking it right away. You feel relief in a couple of hours and I have never had a side effect or stomach upset. For me it works great. Sometimes though the day after I take the last pill my toe knuckle swells up again. I wait again to restart the dose. "

Solu-Medrol (methylprednisolone) for Inflammatory Conditions "I was diagnosed with acute laryngopharyngitis which inflamed my throat, tonsills, and mouth. My body didn't react to amoxicillin so I went a whole weekend in severe pain. Wentt to my docs office at 10am Monday, was hospitalized by 1pm, Solu Medrol by 2pm and pain free by 7pm. Over the course of three days I was very moody, stomach and chest pain, constipation, and never slept but once discharged after 3 days of treatment I was back to my old self within 48hours. The side effects are bad but the effects are heaven sent for pain and inflammation. I have heard the same about Multiple Sclerosis and gout sufferers. God bless you all!"

Medrol Dosepak (methylprednisolone) for Osteoarthritis "Truly a quality of life improver. I can't thank my doctor enough for giving me this prescription when I have debilitating flare ups. Just have to rest and not over exert your joints when on this medicine. Let the swelling subside before returning to normal activities. For me, 2-3 days, and I feel great."

Medrol Dosepak (methylprednisolone) for Asthma, acute "This is my first line of defense when my allergy induced asthma is out of control. Rescue inhalers have not worked for me; I cannot pull the medicine into my lungs when I am constricted. By day 2 of the dosepak, I have significant relief and can usually go off of routine nebulized bronchodilators within 6 days. Unfortunately, my doctors do not like to prescribe steroids 3-4 times/year as needed even though I have shown them it works for me."

MethylPREDNISolone Dose Pack (methylprednisolone) for Gout, Acute "My first experience with gout. Woke up with left foot pain, thought I got a spider bite while I slept. Quickly worsened where walking was very difficult. Called a foot and ankle specialist who got me in that day. He identified condition as gout prescribed MethylPREDNISolone Tablets 4mg dose pack. Instructed to take initial dose at once with my dinner meal. The pain, swelling, discomfort subsided quickly and by next morning little discomfort remained. Completed the course of medication over the six days but condition was resolved in two days. This medication worked very well for me."

Depo-Medrol (methylprednisolone) for Inflammatory Conditions "This medication causes me to be jittery, I can't sleep, have mood changes, have not been able to lose weight, be angry, fast heart rate, have blurry vision, can't think straight, and have high blood sugar. I have zero health conditions only an injured knee. This stuff is poison."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I took this after extensive dental work I had on a tooth. The tooth seemed fine and it was determined either my jaw muscles (due to being open so long for the work) or the swelling of my gums were causing my extreme pain (for 5+ days). Advil was helping but once it wore off the pain would return and I was getting an upset stomach from so much advil. Was put on a 6 day medrol pack to see if it would reduce the swelling. After taking the first pill, the pain was gone. After I finished the pills, the severe pain has not come back. The side effects were pretty mild - just a bit of jumpiness and jitteriness - WAY more tolerable than the pain I had been in. I wanted to write a positive review because this medicine really helped me"

For Asthma, acute "I take this Medrol dose pack after chest colds/infection to help me with uncontrollable coughing spasms. My physician reminds me every time he prescribes it to start in the morning and continue with morning dose as the med can keep you awake at night. I do feel a bit energized after taking it and initially my blood sugar rises (pre-diabetes) but after the second dose my blood sugars return to a more normal range. Those are my only side effects. The Medrol pack is undeniably the best thing for my post infection chronic coughing and I would recommend it."

Medrol Dosepak (methylprednisolone) for Inflammatory Conditions "The product is an effective bullet as I tend to get pneumonia bi-annually due to a compromised immune system (Lupus). I have been diagnosed with Osteo-necrosis caused by the steroid usage. In addition, it tends to make me extremely jittery and anxious, extraordinarily dizzy, unable to focus, nauseous, and to have blurred vision. (These might be an allergic reaction to the product, but am unsure). It HAS saved me many a trip for an extensive stay in the hospital and feel comfortable stating that while I have multiple side effects, the benefit most certainly outweighs them. "

For Inflammatory Conditions "You have to be self aware. Read the label. It tells you about pre existing conditions and interaction issues. Don't be ignorant have a history of this or that take the med and then complain the medication sucks. Children's aspirin can cause similar side effects if you have a condition that doesn't mix well with it. With that being said I took the 6 pills last night and haven't been able to stand up out of bed without a cane in over six weeks. I woke up this morning and I'm standing freely writing this review with no support. All be it my condition isn't from a sprain or twist or backache. It's from a yet to be determined inflammatory disease that has had me on crutches and canes for the past month and a half. be self aware."

For Gout, Acute "Best thing ever invented. I had gout nine months ago and let it run the course for about two weeks. Almost killed me. I did All home remedies and everything you found on the net. This time I awoke and could not walk. I knew what was wrong. I hopped to the doctors office and he agreed and gave me the prescription for methylpredinsoline two hours after taking the pills I started feeling better. The next day no pain and I could walk. BEST MEDICINE EVER. THANK YOU WHOEVER FOUND THIS."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Dr prescribed methylprednisolone for my sinus ear congestion. Ears in pain, popping eustachian tube and off and on sudden blocked sinus that seals shut and or reopens instantly. Clogged = severe ear pressure which creates my anxiety issues to go through the roof with panic. 1st day of prednisone I was expecting a nightmare after reading all the bad reviews. By my 4the pill on the first day I began feeling ear relief. By day 2 midday I had ZERO pain or pressure in my ear. I'm also type 2 diabetic. It did raise my sugars pretty significant so I got around that by eating absolutely zero carbs. No carbs whatsoever and it'll help keep the sugar spiking at bay for the most part. Day 3 felt great. No major anxiety issues except for some mild anxiety. No sleep issues. Doing great. Day 4 still okay. Day 5 I feel ear pressure returning. Sinus swelling beginning again. Day 6 last pill and by end of the day my ear pressure was back. Calling doctor tomorrow to see wtf I can do. I had no major issues."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I started having inflammation in both of my shoulders where I had a very hard time raising my arms to apply deodorant. I also had pain behind my knees where I could kneel but I could not sit on my heels as the pain from inflammation was so bad. I also had a hard time moving my wrists from inflammation. I also had pain on the sides of my hips evenly which was scary. I had tests done many times for R/A and Osteo and I was told that I did not have either one but something was causing inflammation which in turn caused pain and stiffness. After taking the first day of a 6-day 4 mg Medrol does pac, I felt 10X better. It was like a miracle drug with no negative side effects for me."

Medrol Dosepak (methylprednisolone) for Inflammatory Conditions "I had severe pain in my back and after several scans and tests the only thing that was obvious was a herniated disc. I was released from the hospital with a Medrol Pak. I took it the next morning and in a couple of hours not only my back but my knee pain had disappeared. Within a couple of days the pain was history and has stayed that way. I did not have any side effects."

Depo-Medrol (methylprednisolone) for Inflammatory Conditions "My hair is falling out. It's so hard to lose weight. I feel mentally a little off like constant irritation. I also feel a little lethargic. When I first got the shots I felt jittery for days. I'm having blurry vision. "

MethylPREDNISolone Dose Pack (methylprednisolone) for Osteoarthritis "Been on med for only 3 days and there is a noticeable decrease in the amount of pain and swelling I had prior to taking this med. I could barely walk after having an arthritic flare up in my knee. By the second day of taking this med, the pain decreased greatly and I was able to walk. I still had some pain, but not nearly as bad as it was. I still have 3 days to go. I'm hoping for even better news!"

For Inflammatory Conditions "So I work at a hospital and am constantly on my feet, walking/running for 12+ hrs straight. Somehow I injured my foot and started limping by the end of my shifts. Went to the Dr on Friday and she gave me a packet... Its Monday morning and my foot feels a ton better. The swelling is almost gone completely. No side effects, no redness of the face, nothing... Give it a 10 for working great for me!"

For Inflammatory Conditions "I had been experiencing shoulder pain from repetitive strain for about 3 years; it started off quite mild and then in the past 3-6 months had developed into a constant stabbing, throbbing pain. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with rotator cuff tendonitis, and was put on methylprednisolone and valium. After the very first day on the steroid, my pain symptoms reduced *dramatically*. On day 3, it barely hurts at all. So, so, so relieved.. I wish I'd gone to the doctor much sooner!"

For Inflammatory Conditions "I have been to the ER three times in 90 days with horrible sinus pain & pressure. Just finished my third round of augmentin. My ears are still full of fluid & I can hardly hear at all. This steriod has been working so fast! I feel better already & its only been 12 hours on the medicine (4 mg) pills. It does make me feel jittery, but it's definitely worth the side effects. Being sick 90 days is a long time."

MethylPREDNISolone Dose Pack (methylprednisolone) for Inflammatory Conditions "I have pudendal nerve pain and methylprednisolone works amazingly for it. Best thing out there. A little jittery at first but manageable. I am very sensitive to so many meds and can barely take anything. This works so well. A god send. I was at my wits end when Doc let me have this. I was able to work without pain and feel like myself. Unlike other meds, that barely work and make you feel like you are on another planet"
